Dr. Powell is the CEO of Powell Therapy Solutions, LLC, a certified and licensed Autism Specialist, an approved qualified Behavioral Consultant provider with Connecticut's Department of Developmental Services (DDS), a Diplomate of the American Board of Sexology, a Certified Sexologist, member of the American Psychological Association, an honoree for The International Society in Psychology (PSI-CHI), published researcher, and an author. Dr. Powell graduated with her PhD in Performance Psychology from Grand Canyon University and received her graduate and postgraduate degrees from the University of Saint Joseph (formerly Saint Joseph College) in Autism Spectrum Disorders. 

She has over 28 years of experience in conducting Autism assessments and has worked with families in Connecticut, Massachusetts, California, Florida, Ohio, and the Caribbean.
